On February 21st, the Oulu Automotive Cluster in Finland hosted an event exploring how European carmakers aim to modernize software updates (including both component and over‐the‐air) and accelerate the shift toward software‐defined vehicles (SDVs). Attendees discussed how the European Commission supports open, ecosystem‐wide interfaces to drive innovation.
Recently, FEDERATE, Shift2SDV, and Cynergy4MIE project partners met and presented their latest advancements. More specifically, Cynergy4MIE highlighted its contributions, with a focus on its Supply Chain 1 demonstrator for all-weather vehicle navigation. In this context, VTT, a Cynergy4MIE project partner, provided insights into their contributions through a presentation titled “Software-Defined Vehicles: European Perspectives and VTT’s Contributions in Cynergy4MIE & SHIFT2SDV.”
Attended by approximately 30 participants, the event provided a valuable platform for networking, valuable technical exchanges and collaboration opportunities, facilitating crucial dialogue on the future of automotive software innovation.
