Last week, Cynergy4MIE project coordinator Reiner John joined a high-level technology forum in Berlin, marking the 30th anniversary of the ITRI Europe Office, and bringing together leading European R&D organizations.
At the event, Reiner John delivered a talk: “AI+ as the Engineering Language for Taiwan–EU Innovation“, calling to action: build trusted AI+ innovation pipelines. A key message: AI is not magic- it becomes powerful when it helps industries understand each other.
The presentation highlighted the strong complementarity between Taiwan and Europe:
🔹 Taiwan brings semiconductor and packaging excellence, electronics and manufacturing speed, fast prototyping, and industrial execution.
🔹 Europe – automotive and safety-critical systems engineering, regulation, standards, R&D ecosystems, large demonstrators, and long-term validation.
Strengthening this collaboration is key to driving future innovation.
